Sale-A-Bration Blog Hop

Hi everyone and welcome to the 2nd Stampersanonymous blog hop. This time we are showcasing stamps from Sale-A-Bration. These stamp sets are free (who doesn't love a freebie?). To qualify you just need to purchase Stampin' Up! product to the value of $100 and you will receive one of 4 stamp sets free. Purchase $200 can get 2 stamp sets free etc. Remember you only have until the 31st March 2010 to get these stamp sets and no they cannot be purchased!!! Contact your demonstrator (or me if you don't have one), to place your order and get these stamps.

You may have arrived here from the fabulous blog of  Marelle Taylor, but if not that is OK you can complete the tour by clicking on the links at the end of each post. There are 9 stops along the way and we hope that you will visit us all and enjoy our creations we have to show you. Please feel free to leave a comment - as we all love comments. So sit back and enjoy the ride.

My first offering to you is using the stamp set Happy Moments. I love this set as it has crisp clean lines and is perfect for getting out your blender pen, Stampin' Write Markers, aqua painter or even your Stamin' Pastels.

Here I have made 4 standard cards using all of the main images.

I also made a tote bag to place the cards in - perfect for a gift.

I stamped the images in Black Staz On and the got out my trusty blender pen and ink pads to colour in the images.

Materiels Used:
Stamp Set: Happy Moments.
Cardstock: So Saffron, Regal Rose, Rose Red, Certainly Celery, Baja Breeze, Whisper White.
Ink: Regal Rose, So Saffron, Rose Red, Certainly Celery, Baja Breeze, Black Staz On.
Other: Dimensionals, Large Oval Punch, Small Oval Punch, Scallop Oval Punch, Spellbinders.

Next I have used the stamp set Good Neighbours. Now there is so much you can do with this stamp set and I will show you more later in the week but for now here is a small box I have made. I found the instructions on how to make this box at PaperSmiles. It is so cute and easy to make. You can't see it but the handle has been punched using the scallop edge punch. Please forgive the photography but I had no natural light left and the shadows are shocking so I was unable to get a decent picture of the handle. This little box would be great to put a couple of choccies in to welcome the neighbours.

Materiels Used:
Stamps: Good Neighbours
Card stock: Baja Breeze, Riding Hood Red, Whisper White.
Ink: Riding Hood Red, Baja Breeze, Kiwi Kiss.
Other: 1 1/4" Circle Punch, 1 3/8" Circle Punch, Scallop Circle Punch, Dimensionals.

Lastly I have two more cards using the set Whimsical Words. Whilst this set has no pictures the sentiments are fantastic and can be added to many other images that we have in our IB&C. In these cards I have decided to let the sentiments be the focal point of the card. To make the "flower" around the Wide Oval's, I cut a piece of A4 cardstock lengthways - about 2 cm's wide, and then used the Eyelet Border Punch to punch all the way along. I then ran the card through the crimper so that it would be easier to "bend" the card around the oval.

Materiels Used:
Stamps: Whimsical Words
Cardstock: Whisper White, Brocade Blue, Regal Rose, Brocade Blue and Regal Rose DSP from Hostess level one gift.
Ink: Regal Rose, Brocade Blue.
Other: Wide Oval Punch, Eyelet Border Punch, Crimper, Dimensionals.
