Tart and Tangy

Hi everyone,

This stamp set is on loan from by best friend Sam (Hi Sam!!!). It is a stamp set that I have been eyeing up but for some reason have just not purchased it. I have been thinking about making several different types of cards with a matching tote that you can give as hostess gifts, or as RAK's. This set is perfect for this (also an excellent set for a Stamp A Stack if you need any ideas or for a beginner class - mmm might just have to remember that), as the shapes are basically the same and can be punched out using the circle punches, so no need to worry about getting the stamp in the middle of the cardstock, or worry about extra cutting (wow that was a long sentence).

So here is the first of my cards and matching tote that you will see over the coming months.

Here is a close up of the matching tote - which was made out of one sheet of standard A4 cardstock.

I used my Stampin' Write markers to get the different colours on the cherries and apple.

Nothing quite like a clear and crisp card and I love Whisper White for that. You may notice that there are no sentiments on the cards. I think that adding a sentiment would clutter them too much and then you can't use the cards as 'just because' cards.

Materials Used: (All Stampin' Up!)
Stamps: Tart and Tangy
Card: Whisper White, Old Olive, Real Red
Ink: Old Olive, Real Red
Other: Old Olive, Real Red, Ruby Red, Chocolate Chip Stampin' Write markers, Scallop Circle Punch, 1 3/8" Circle Punch, 1 1/4" Circle Punch, Word Window Punch, Dimensionals.

'Til next time

Juliette
