A little Hope

Hi everyone,

Well I didn't think I would make it today with my final card showing one of my favorite sets from the Autumn/Winter Mini. My DH decided to invite his parents over for lunch so I was up at 7am making desert. I know crazy, but then I hadn't done the weeks grocery shop so I had to go and get that after 9 this morning. I love my in laws but I always feel that things have to be used right and I hadn't even cleaned the house properly since last weekend - so busy, busy.

Enough of my 'woes' and onto today's card. I have to say my favorite set from this mini has been Strength & Hope. Such a worthy cause for this stamp set too. I have done quite a few different cards with this set but unfortunately I can't show you as I am part of a Secret Sister group and we haven't had our reveal yet. I don't think my SS looks at my blog but just in case I had better not spill the beans.

Here is a card that I made using Pretty in Pink and Concord Crush. I love that combination together.
I thought I would use the ribbon like the Breast Cancer Ribbon.

Materials  Used: All Stampin' Up!
Stamps: Strength  & Hope
Paper: Concord Crush, Pretty in Pink, Very Vanilla
Ink: Pretty in Pink, Concord Crush
Other: Big Shot, Framed Tulips EF, 3/8" Pretty in Pink Taffeta Ribbon, 1 1/4" Circle Punch, 1 3/8" Circle Punch, 1 3/4" Scallop Circle Punch, Dimensionals, Basic Pearls.

Thanks for looking.

More?! Did someone say More?!

Hi everyone,

I have always loved Oliver the musical and film - so I just had to use that as a title. Today I am showing you some more creations using the Eat Chocolate set from the current Autumn/Winter mini. Anyone who loves chocolate will find a use for this cute set.

I have seen this style of card where there is a 'window' that you can see the message through so I thought that Eat Chocolate would be perfect to make this card. I have actually made the card from a normal A5 sheet (half of an A4 piece of cardstock) so the card is not all that wide but there is still enough room on the inside to write your message.

Here are the cards open. If you click on the picture you will be able to see that the inside of the front card has the extra statement 'I am that friend'. It is on the bottom part of the main stamp and I just restamped it and punched it out with the Word Window Punch.

Now remember you only have until tomorrow to place any orders you may 'need' from this current mini catalogue. I hope to be back tomorrow with one more card using another favorite set from the mini.

Thanks for looking.

'Til next time,

Juliette

Eat Chocolate

Hi everyone,

When I saw the Autumn/Winter mini catalogue one of the first stamp sets I had to have was Eat Chocolate. I am a chocolateholic so it is really appropriate for me. Would you believe though that I only inked this stamp set up last week? Just as we only have a week left before this mini catalogue finishes and this stamp set may be gone forever!!!

I thought I would make a little appreciation gift for my regulars last week and this is what I gave them.

I wrapped the small Choceur Aldi Chocolates in cardstock that I had stamped randomly with the So Much Chocolate stamp. I used sticky strip to secure the back and the sides and then used my crimper to tidy of the ends, add a tag and ta da there you have it. I gave them the card as well!!!

Thanks for looking.

Christmas Classics

Hi everyone,

Well the weather has turned rather nasty this afternoon and evening and is expected to stay like this (or rather get worse before it gets better) for a few more days.

As it is July it is time for my Christmas Stamp A Stacks to start. I thought I would show you 5 of the cards that are in class this week. I know you are groaning "but Christmas is still so far away" - well it is never to early to start on your Christmas cards. I do have spaces if you are interested in coming to class this week (tomorrow night and Thursday night) just email me for more details.

I do love this stamp set Christmas Classics and there is so much you can do with it.

Thanks for looking.

'Til next time,

Juliette
