Paisley Petals for a Secret Sister

Hi everyone,

I am still showing you projects that I have made in the past as I can't get into my craft room through all the stuff that needs to be put away!!! We have finally just about finished chucking out the rubbish though our top to bottom cleansing of the house. Unfortunately my craft room wasn't touched apart from to take out the old single bed that was in there to take to the tip. This meant that everything I had left on the bed either had to be put away (not possible due to lack of storage space) or dumped on the floor. On the upside I will be getting some new drawers to help with my ever growing SU! supplies. Just have to get to Ikea in the next week or so to get them. I will somehow have to work out how to tidy up my room enough so that I can get in and play. I am having severe withdrawals from not being able to play and I keep blurfing and find all sorts of wonderful things I can't wait to have a try at.

Enough of my ramblings here is a little something that I sent my Secret Sister. I try to coordinate the gift and the card. This time I used Paisley Petals. Unfortunately I didn't realise that my SS isn't a huge fan of the DSP. I love it and will be using it a lot more.

Here is the card I made.

I stamped the image in Jet Black Stazon and then tried to colour the image to match the paper. To do this I just used my blender pen and inks.

This is the gift that I sent. A covered art journal with her initial on it. The hexagonal box was made with the Milk Carton Die and filled with chocolates. My SS had hinted on a forum that she was craving some microwave popcorn so I made a holder to pop two packs in it for her.

If you check out the colours that coordinate with this DSP in the IB&C you will find that I used all the colours to make this card and gift. The stamp sets used are Paisley Petals (of course), A Word for You and Tiny Tags.

Thanks for looking.

'Til next time,

Juliette

Even if this wasn't her favorite DSP, the gifts are beautiful! I love the journal and the popcorn holder is brilliant!
I can't imagine how wonderful you will feel when all of your 'spring' cleaning is over. I really need to follow your example!

Gorgeous Juliette. I wasn't a big fan either until seeing this - my mind has been changed....
