Bordering on Romance

Hi everyone,

Thought I would pop by and show you some of the cards that my ladies made this month during my Stamp A Stack class.

I teamed Bordering on Romance with the out going In Colors and this is what I came up with.

I think they turned out great, but there again that is only in my opinion. There was a bit of fussy cutting which I personally don't mind but unfortunately some of my ladies really don't like it. I used sentiments from Apothecary Art, Loving Thoughts and Teeny Tiny Sentiments.

Bordering on Romance, Apothecary Art and Loving Thoughts are in the current mini catalogue that is due to end tomorrow. Now we have no idea whether these sets will make it into the next main catalogue so if you are thinking you want them then I suggest you contact your demo and place your order or you may well miss out. Also don't forget that these In Colors (Peach Parfait, Poppy Parade, Concord Crush, Pear Pizzazz and Blushing Bride) are only around for another month. The Last Chance List (Retirement list) will be out on Wednesday and I would suggest that if there is something you really want don't wait to get it as things will go quickly.

Thanks for looking.

Christmas Project Class

Hi everyone,

Once again long time no show. I have been busy but haven't really anything to show you at the moment I am afraid.

I thought I would pop by and show you my Christmas Project Class that I have this week on Wednesday and Thursday evenings - on the off chance that you are interested and might want to come to class.

As this is July I always like to do a Christmas Project and this year this is what I have come up with.

A couple of wine carriers, a DVD slider and a couple of noodle boxes that you can pop almost anything in.
Here is a close up of one of the noodle boxes.

Here is a closer look at the DVD slider and noodle boxes.

Now you may note that the DSP is not a current one - no it isn't as it is a sneak peak of what is coming up in the new catalogue that will be available from September. Just a reminder that in my project class you will get all the necessary product to make these items, as well as a take home tutorial which has all the measurements and instructions so that you can make these items again. Cost is $30.00. Please contact me to book your spot.

Thanks for looking.

Tree Trimmings for July Christmas Stamp A Stack

Hi everyone,

I did make it back again today to show you the second set of cards in my July Christmas Stamp A Stack.

I decided to use a very neglected set Tree Trimmings. I remember when this set appeared in a Spring Mini (yes we did use to have a Spring mini) and I just had to have it. Sadly it has only seen ink a few times since then.

I have teamed the set up with the Letters to Santa DSP and I think it works well.

Don't forget to book into class if you want to make these cards.

Thanks for looking.

Dasher meets Christmas Stamp A Stack

Hi everyone,

I know very long time between posts. I could bore you with why and ramble on for a few paragraphs but I won't. Let's just say lots of ideas but not much time or real motivation to find the time and leave it at that.

This month sees the start of my Christmas Stamp A Stacks. The idea behind this is to get a head start on your Christmas cards for the year. I run my Christmas Stamp A Stacks from now until November and in each class you get to make 12 cards. This means by Christmas you have 60 hand made cards to send.

This month we are using Dasher for 6 of the cards. I have teamed him up with the gorgeous specialty DSP Mocha Morning. Here are three of the cards. You will get enough product to make 6.

I have spaces in my classes this week (Wednesday 11th and Thursday 12th - from 7.30om), and also in my day class Tuesday 24th July from 10.30am. Cost is $30 (or $25 if you bring your own adhesive) and includes all product, ribbon, embellishments and envelopes. That works out to be $2.50 per card and I don't know about you but I have no idea where I could purchase a hand made card for $2.50.

I plan to be back tomorrow to show you the other cards in this months Christmas Stamp A Stack.

Thanks for looking.

'Til next time,

Juliette
