Welcome to the Stampers Anonymous Blog Hop. Tonight we are excited to show you some projects made with products that we as demonstrators were able to purchase as a sneak peek to the 2010-2011 Idea Book and Catalogue.
You may have come from Fiona Harvey's Blog, but if you are starting here don't worry you can make the complete tour just by following the links at the end of each post. There are 14 stops along the way and we hope you will visit each one and see the wonderful creations we have to show you. Please feel free to leave comments too - we love comments!!!
So grab a cuppa , sit back and enjoy.
Tonight I am going to show you just a couple of projects. Since I broke my ankle I have not had much inspiration but I am hoping that it is back... When we got the sneak peek brochure there were a couple of sets that jumped right out at me and I am going to showcase "Contempo Christmas" and "For You Flower".
Contempo Christmas is available in both wood and clear mount. It is a set of 4 stamps and is very reasonably priced at $26.95 (for wood). As it is contemporary in name and appearance I decided to not use the traditional Christmas colours but to use Pretty in Pink and Certainly Celery.
Here is the first card
I just love this tree - you can also colour it using your Stampin' Write markers to give it a different look.
Next is a card made with the Ornament.
I can tell you that we will be getting the much coveted Ornament Punch in the new Idea Book and Catalogue however they are not too difficult to cut out. I apologise that the sentiment has not come out as well as I had hoped but it says "Christmas is Love with all the Trimmings".
And finally with this set I have made a couple of Christmas Bon Bon's. Now these Bon Bons are really easy to make and you can find a great video on Dawns Stamping Thoughts.
These are really cute and easy to make and will hold a lot in them.
Materials Used (all Stampin' Up!)
Stamps: Contempo Christmas, So Swirly Jumbo Wheel
Ink: Certainly Celery, Pretty in Pink
Paper: Certainly Celery, Pretty in Pink, Whisper White
Other: Polka Dot Embossing Folder, Dimensionals, Large Oval Punch, Clear Rhinestone Brads, 1/4" Certainly Celery Grosgrain Ribbon, Scallop Edge Punch.
My final offering to you is using the A La Carte Stamp "For you Flower". I really love how Stampin' Up! have included these in the new Idea Book and Catalogue. It means that if you new to stamping or don't have a lot of money to spend you can get a great single stamp that will probably start your addiction!!!!
Now these Stamp co-ordinates beautifully with the new Fancy Flower Punch and I have a feeling that I will be using that Punch a lot in future. I must admit that the large card has a sneak peak of another stamp set that if you come back tomorrow you will see in the ESAD blog hop.
Materials Used:
Stamps: For You Flower, Sweetheart
Ink: Rich Razzleberry, Old Olive
Paper: Crumbcake, Whisper White, Old Olive, Rich Razzleberry
Other: Fancy Flower Punch, 1 3/8" Circle Punch, Dimensionals, Polka Dot Embossing Folder, 1/4" Old Olive Grosgrain Ribbon, 1/4" Whisper White Ribbon.
I do hope you like my creations. It is now time to hop off and see the wonderful creations of Kerry Bunting.

Further reductions from the Last Chance List
Hi everyone,
Firstly let me apologise for being a terrible blogger. I am so lacking in Mojo at the moment that I have nothing to offer. My ankle is still at the stage of no weight baring for at least another week. It takes be approx 5 minutes to negotiate the stairs to the craft room on my bottom and then another 5 minutes sitting on my bed to recover from the work of getting up there. I then finally get my frame and hop to the craft room where I sit at my desk trying to come up with something. After about 1 1/2hrs of sitting there throwing everything I have done into the bin because it is just not happening I then head back downstairs. But never fear I am hoping against hope that everything will be right for next week. It better be as there are two blog hops coming, but more about that tomorrow (maybe?).
I just wanted to remind you all of the Last Chance List and some fantastic bargains that just appeared. To make room for the new stock in the warehouse Stampin' Up! have released this list of items that are upto 50% off.
*CO=Carryover Flyer
*AW=Autumn/Winter Mini Catalogue
Don't forget that when these items are gone - they are gone for good. So if there is something on the list that you just NEED to have - contact me via email or call me on 0407371558 to place your order.
'Til next time (and hopefully not as long),

A Rose is a Rose - sad goodbye
Hi everyone,
Why is it when you are told you that something is going you want it even more? I love A Rose is a Rose and it is one of the stamp sets that I will not part with when the new catalogue comes in - but I won't be able to run classes with it and on that I am sad.
I was asked to make some thank you cards yesterday for a friend and one of the cards was for Sam's Mum, so I thought I should make something special so out came A Rose is a Rose. Now you know when you make a card you have to make at least two. You have the set out and the colours so why not? Well I made two with different coloured bases but didn't have time to photograph both.
The base on this one is Rich Razzleberry which teams beautifully with Pale Plum (retiring). I have also used Kiwi Kiss (retiring). It is funny Kiwi Kiss is one of the first colours I bought as a demo but have rarely used it but now I know it is going I realise I am going to miss it terribly and have been using it a lot.
Materials Used:
Stamps: A Rose is a Rose (Retiring), Vintage Vogue, Short and Sweet.
Paper: Rich Razzleberry, Pale Plum (Retiring) , Kiwi Kiss (Retiring), Whisper White
Ink: Perfect Plum (Retiring) , Pale Plum (Retiring), Kiwi Kiss.
Other: Large Oval Punch, Scallop Oval Punch, Dimensionals, Nestabilities Labels 4.

Cards for Kylie
Hi everyone,
Well I have been a bad blogger haven't I? Unfortunately I haven't really felt much like it. It takes so long to get from the lounge room to the computer room and my lap top doesn't have everything on it that I need to edit photos etc.
I have however been able to create some cards for you to look at. A friend of mine went into hospital not this Friday just gone but the one before. She has had some major surgery done and will be out of action for approx 6-8 weeks - a bit like me!!! Anyway I thought I would make her some cards so that she can give them to all the people who have and will be helping her and her family over the coming weeks.
Firstly though here is the "get well" card that I made for her. It is very simple and uses the Hostess Level 1 set "Live Like you Mean It" - it is appropriate due to the surgery that she had.
Materials Used: All Stampin' Up!
Stamps: Live Like you Mean It
Paper: Regal Rose, Certainly Celery, Whisper White
Ink: Certainly Celery, Regal Rose, Rose Red
Other: 1/4" Certainly Celery Grosgrain Ribbon.
The next cards are using the soon to be retired Tea Party DSP and the wonderful Top Note Die for the Big Shot. Very simple cards to make but look effective.
Materials Used: All Stampin' Up!
Stamps: Short and Sweet
Paper: Almost Amethyst (Retiring), So Saffron, Tea Party DSP (Retiring)
Ink: Amost Amethyst (Retiring), Certainly Celery.
Other: Dimensionals, Top Note Die, So Saffron Grosgrain Ribbon (Ribbon bundle from last year), Certainly Celery Twill Ribbon (Ribbon Bundle from last year), Large Oval Punch, Scallop Oval Punch, Horizontal Slot Punch (Retiring).
Then I made two cards using the set Simply Said.
Materials Used:
Stamps: Simply Said
Paper: Melon Mambo, Certainly Celery
Ink: Certainly Celery, Melon Mambo
Other: Large Oval Punch, Scallop Oval Punch, Certainly Celery Stampin' Write, Blender Pen, Sizzlets Button Die, Melon Mambo Polka Dot Grosgrain Ribbon (Retiring), Certainly Celery Twill Ribbon (Ribbon Bundle from last year), Oval Nestabilities, Scallop Oval Nestabilites, Glue Dots.
The last two cards are the same as ones I have made earlier using the Manhattan Flower Textured Impressions Embossing Folder exclusive to SU! (I have to say I can't wait to get my hands on the new ones that are available in our new catalogue from 1st September).
Materials Used: All Stampin' Up!
Stamps: Think Happy Thoughts (Retiring)
Paper: Whipser White, Rich Razzleberyy, Melon Mambo, Old Olive, Pink Pirouette
Ink: Rich Razzleberry, Old Olive, Melon Mambo
Other: Dimensionals, Filigree Brads, Clear Rhinestone Brads, 1/2" Circle Punch, 1 1/4" Circle Punch, 1 3/8" Circle Punch, Eyelet Border Punch, Scallop Circle Punch, Dimensionals, Rich Razzleberry Polka Dot Grosgrain Ribbon (Retiring), Melon Mambo Polka Dot Grosgrain Ribbon (Retiring).
Note: In future when I am using product that is retiring I will highlight it in red. Also remember with the Last Chance List that items are selling fast. I will update my blog with a page at the top so you can click on that to keep up to date with product that is running low or has sold out.
Don't forget to contact me if there is product that you NEED because I can tell you - when it is gone it is too late.

Some Get Well Cards
Hi everyone,
I am back as promised to show you some of the Get Well cards that I have been receiving.
Whilst these are not my creations I have placed my watermark on them as they are Stampin' Up! images.
The first card is from my fabulous up-line Marelle Taylor. As soon as I saw this I knew it was her work.
I love Petal Pizzaz.
The next card is from Michelle Marchant (check out her blog she has some lovely work).
I love the way she has team the Bird Punch with Eastern Blooms
Next I have a card sent from the lovely Andrea Buckland. Now Andrea is suffering from atypical pneumonia which means that the normal antibiotics didn't work and she is now on different ones. I can't believe that whilst she has been so sick she still found time to send me a get well card.
Andrea has used the lovely Autumn Days Stamp Set and matching Autumn Traditions DSP.
Another card came from the talented Jenny Adams. Now Jenny is another Demonstrator who is having a hard time of it and yet once again has shared her talent. That is something I love about the SU! community they are all such lovely people.
This one uses one of my most favorite sets Cottage Garden and the yummy Cottage Garden (sob soon to retire) DSP.
My last card for this post is from my best friend Sam. Now Sam is not a Demo and neither does she have a blog but she loves all things paper craft and SU!. This card that she has made may have a little something on it coming out in the new Catalogue!!!
The ribbon is not SU! but is very close to Melon Mambo.
Well that is it for now. I am starting to feel very tired my leg has been down most of the day and needs to rest up. Hope to be back tomorrow with some more.

Some X Rays I finally got
Hi everyone,
Not stamping related I know but I went back to the specialist today to see about getting my full cast on. The bad news is that one of my scars is still wet so the specialist is now concerned about infection. He has placed me on strong antibiotics and I have to go back and see him at Campbelltown this time next Friday. This means that no full cast for me for the time being. Hopefully the antibiotics work as I don't think I could handle having to go back into hospital. For that matter I don't think my poor DH would cope either. He has been fantastic and the best DH anyone could hope for. He has seen me at my worst and still hasn't run for the hills.
I do have some pictures to show you. I picked up a soft copy of my X-Rays so can load some up for you. The first two were taken the day I was admitted to the ED at Nepean.
You can clearly see the break in this one.
I believe this one was taken before they put my disclocated ankle back into place.
This last one was taken today. When I left hospital my discharge papers said that I had 1 one plate and 5 screws. Well have a look at this one.
That is actually two plates and 12 screws!!! The specialist is happy with the way it is healing - just concerned about infection.
Anyway just a little something for you to check out.
'Til next time,

A couple of items that were for the ESAD Blog Hop
Hi everyone,
Well I have managed to photograph a couple of the items I made for the ESAD Christmas in July Blog Hop. Unfortunately I didn't finish everything and I can't quite get the inspiration to complete them now. The sad thing is that Spotlight on Christmas is a stamp set that I love and is on the Once Last Chance list. Hopefully before this month is over I will be able to show you the last item I was going to make for this Blog Hop as it uses Spotlight on Christmas.
Firstly I have two rather plain Christmas Cards. I like plain. Clean and Simple is my motto. Here I have used Spotlight on Christmas and used Pink Pirouette and Certainly Celery.
The tree is made using the Full Heart Punch. The sentiment is from the Level 1 Hostess Set Best Yet but I have omitted some of the words.
I also made three more Christmas Cards using Spotlight on Christmas using more traditional colours. I used Ruby Red, Old Olive, Baja Breeze (just love it for Christmas) and some Chocolate Chip.
Lastly I made a couple of Top Note Characters. Now these are by no means my idea and I got the idea and directions from a blog called wunsaponatime (click here to check out the site). There is also a U-Tube link to make Rudolph.
Now these guys are cute and fun to make. I made the boxes big enough to put lots of Christmas lollies in them. I have also used Pink Pirouette for Santa due to Blush Blossom retiring and have used Soft Suede for Rudolph rather than Close to Cocoa that I would normally have used. These guys will be featuring in an upcoming class so stay tuned for more details.

These guys will be featuring in an upcoming class so stay tuned for more details.

Just Add Ink
Hi everyone,
Well it has been over two weeks since I last got my fingers inky and I have to say it has been driving me nuts. The down side - when I finally got into my craft room - no mojo!!!! I think it has something to do with the fact that I can't stand up easily and get what I want off my shelves.
I saw the Just Add Ink Colour challenge and seeing it uses three of my most favorite colours I thought I would have a go. Strictly speaking it is not keeping with the challenge as I have used Whisper White as well but oh well.
I am going back to the Specialist on Tuesday so will have an opportunity to hand in a Thank you card to the wonderful nurses on the ward I was in. There is one nurse in particular who I need to thank. His name is Bede and he has been nursing now for 17 years. He has such a positive attitude and calls a spade a spade. He says if you are upset then that is OK. However if you don't want to get out of bed he will not have it!!! Whilst I was waiting the roller coaster of when I was going to have my operation he was the one that kept me sane. So whilst looking at the Just Add Ink colour challenge I thought I would make him his own Thank you card.
Here I have used Kraft (soon to be Crumbcake) as the card base, Baja Breeze and Chocolate Chip as mats. Kraft Taffeta Ribbon. The stamps are from Friends 24-7 and of course Tiny Tags. The 'button' is from the Sizzlets Button Die from the Autumn/Winter Mini.
Hope you like it,

Last Chance List is here
Hi everyone,
Well today is the 1st August. That means only one more month of Winter - yay!!! And only one more month until our new Idea Book and Catalogue is available. That also means there is only one more month to purchase products from our existing Catalogue. The Last Chance list or One more Chance - what ever way you look at it - is exactly that. Only one more chance or last chance to purchase items that will no longer be available. So if there are stamp sets you have been wondering about getting or maybe some cardstock, ink pads and accessories check out the list here. There are some bargains to be had but not everything has been reduced. Don't delay to purchase either as once stocks have gone - that is it. No more. I will update my blog with items that have been sold out.
