Hi everyone,
Well I think I have fully recovered from all my sewing and Convention. Last week I didn't want to do anything but sit quietly.
DD8 did her performance on Wednesday during the day and at night. Even if I do say so myself the costumes looked great. Unfortunately I wasn't able to get a photo of all of the kids as it was just too difficult but here is one of DD8 and her best friend. Imagine 30 kids in Orange, Pink, Purple and Green striped costumes. Throw in Dorothy (blue gingham) , the Tin Man (silver two way stretch material), the Lion (gold two way stretch material), the Scarecrow (brown skirt with patches of colour all over) and the Witch (black striped material) and you have the Wizard of OZ. They did an awesome job and so did their teacher. I am one very proud mummy.
DD8 is the one in green.
Any way onto the purpose of my post. I have resumed classes this week starting with a Stamp A Stack. For those who don't know a Stamp A Stack is just that - stamp a stack of cards. Other people may call them card buffets. For my Stamp A Stacks I design 8 cards usually 4 using one set and the other 4 using another set. I cut all supplies required to make the cards exactly the way I have designed them. However if you want to change them you can using the supplies that are available. It is a great way to have some cards on hand for when you need them.
This month the first set of cards we are making is using the Hostess set from the current Autumn-Winter Mini - Pedal Presents. Now this wasn't a set I was going to get but when my order reached $300 and I was eligible for $50 worth of hostess dollars I thought why not. I am glad I have it as it is fun set to use. So many possibilities.
Now if you would like to make these cards why not contact me to book in. I have spaces available on Wednesday 13th June and Thursday 14th June (7.30pm start). I am also offering a day class on the 19th June (10.30am). Cost is $25 or $20 if you bring your own adhesive and includes all product, envelopes etc.
Thanks for looking.
'Til next time,
Juliette
