Googly Ghouls meets Sunny Challenges & Creations

Hi everyone,

It has been absolutely ages since I did any challenges so as I had a spare hour today I thought I would see if I could do the one over at Sunny Challenges & Creations. This week along with a sketch we had to include embossing of any kind - that means heat embossing or dry embossing. I managed to incorporate both into my entry.

Here is my take on it.

I used the new Houndstooth Textured Embossing Folder along the bottom and the little bats were heat embossed using clear EP. Don't you just love the little witches eyes? I am very happy to say that in our current Holiday catalogue we have these googly eyes!!!

Giant Craft Sale

Christmas in September - Part 2

Hi everyone,

As promised yesterday I am back to show you the second set of cards for this months Christmas Stamp A Stack. When I saw Polar Party in the new catalogue I just had to have it. Never mind that Christmas in Oz is normally in the mid to late 20's and even sometimes in the 30's!!! But this set is so damn cute.

It's Christmas in September part 1

Hi everyone,

Firstly thank you all who visited yesterday and checked out the ESAD Holiday Catalogue Blog Hop. I hope you found lots of fun items on it to inspire you. I know I certainly did.

Today is the first real day of school holidays so whilst the DD's are still in bed I thought I would pop by and show you the first set of cards for my Christmas Stamp A Stack this month - yes I am still running my classes during the holidays so if you want to come to class just contact me.

The first set of cards uses a new set, Chock Full of Cheer, that is in the main catalogue.

I promise you there is only a little bit of fussy cutting.

ESAD Holiday Mini Blog Hop

Hi everyone,

Yay! Here we are again with another blog hop brought to you by the very clever ladies at ESAD. This time we are going to hop through the Holiday  Catalogue. Oh my how much fun and cool stuff is there in this catalogue? I have to admit I think I have purchased far too much - but don't tell my DH!!!

Now as I mentioned the clever ladies at ESAD are bringing you this hop - so just in case you don't know who or what ESAD is here is a little bit of information.

ESAD stands for "Extra Special Australasian Demonstrators" and it is an on-line group just for Australian and New Zealand Stampin" Up! demonstrators. We so love what we do and not only do we love to share it with our customers, friends, and wonderful blog visitors, but we share our love for what we do with each other as demonstrators. We run swaps, challenges, tutorials, product know-how, and cyberstamps, and we are always there to help and support each other when it is needed. Now you should have arrived at my blog from the very talented Michelle. If not don't worry. As this is a hop all you need to do is click on the links before and after the samples to go all the way around. There are 24 of us in this hop - so go and grab yourself a cuppa and sit back and enjoy. Oh and don't forget to leave us comments. Whilst we don't do this for the comments it is nice to know that someone has actually looked at what we have done.

Today I am going to show you a couple of Christmas decorations that I have made using our gorgeous Candlelight Christmas Designer Fabric.

Here is the first decoration.

My ladies actually made this decoration in class this week. I found instructions for this at All Things Stampy. Her instructions are really easy to follow. These decorations are really easy to make and I know that I will be making a heap over the coming months as this is what the girls have decided they want to give to their friends this year for Christmas. The hardest thing about this decoration is the preparation of the ball.























Here is the second decoration I made.

The instructions on how to make this one can be found over at Crafter without a Cat. Once again the instructions are really easy to follow. I think that the teachers may get these ones this year for their gift.
























Now no gift is complete unless you package it up nicely - right? So yes I made a box to pop this one in.

I have used the gorgeous Candlelight Christmas Specialty DSP to decorate the box. The ornament window was made using the Holiday Ornaments Framelits. I decided that the top of the box looked a little bare so I had a go at making a paper bow.

Now I couldn't leave the blog hop without showing you a couple of cards I have made using the Merry Mini's stamp set and co-ordinating Merry Mini's Punch Pack. These cards are super quick and easy to mass produce.

Here is one made using just the punch pack - oh and of course the 1" square punch and postage stamp punch. I popped up the 1" whisper white squares using dimensionals and added a little bling by way of our basic rhinestone jewels. The sentiment is also from the holiday catalogue and is from Greetings of the Season.

This second card is pretty much the same except this time I have used the stamp set. As I said these are very quick and easy and definitely ones to mass produce.
