Tumbling Chicks!!!

Hi everyone,

I have been rather slack and haven't updated my blog recently (I have an excuse it was my Birthday this weekend just gone and I had the family here). I had a lovely time and finally got to open and play with some of my goodies from the Autumn/Winter Mini Catalogue - but I won't be showing you anything from the catalogue just yet. Stay tuned for our next blog hop where you will get to see all manner of wonderful creations from my fellow team members.

I finally had a go at making a Waterfall card. They look impressive and are perfect to give to the younger generation as they like interactive cards (hint you may see another one of these on the blog hop).

I have used the Chick from A Good Egg. He looks fantastic tumbling as you pull the slider. I saw the idea to make him tumble from someone else and I apologise for not acknowledging them (please let me know if you have seen one the same and I will acknowledge accordingly).

I have tried to upload the other photos I took of him tumbling - but Picasa keeps 'correcting' the images so that the Chick is not facing the 'wrong' way. Anyway I hope you get the idea from the second photo.

I had a lot of fun making this card and they are not as hard as the look. I will be including this type of card in one of my project classes later on in the year.

Materials Used (All Stampin' Up!)
Stamps: A Good Egg
Card: Almost Amethyst, Pretty in Pink, So Saffron, Certainly Celery, Whisper White.
Ink: Black StazOn, Almost Amethyst, Pretty in Pink, So Saffron, Certainly Celery.
Other: Pretty in Pink Brads (from Soft Subtles), Round Tab Punch, Dazzling Diamonds, So Saffron Stampin' Write, Only Orange Stampin' Write, Lovely Lavender Stampin' Write.

'Til next time,

Juliette

Very cute card. I've been wanting to try the waterfall technique, but haven't yet. Love how you made him tumble:)
