Day Eight of my Countdown to Christmas

Hi everyone,

Well I am a little later than I had hoped to post this today. Time just got away from me.

Here is my take on the cute Santa Owls that are doing the rounds. I am not too happy with his 'belt' it needs something added to it. I decided to include one of Santa's Elves to help him deliver all the gifts this year.

 

The background is the gorgeous Wood Grain Background stamp. I don't know about you but I always feel the need to mat my sentiments. My mat this time is just a Scallop Oval cut in two.

Materials Used: All Stampin' Up!

Stamps: Word Play

Paper: Real Red, Crumb Cake, Old Olive, Basic Grey, Whisper White, Basic Black

Ink: Real Red, Early Espresso

Other: XL Two Step Owl Punch, Wide Oval Punch, Scallop Oval Punch, Itty Bitty Shapes Punch (from Summer Mini), 1 1/4" Square Punch Dimensionals.
